Today, our GGGI Lao PDR team held our monthly PMU meeting for the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation for Methane Mitigation (AKCMM) initiative to reflect on our progress and the path ahead. It is encouraging to see the project steadily taking shape as we continue to hit key milestones, including advancing our procurement processes to identify the potential partners and finalizing the technical frameworks required for our upcoming feasibility studies. From driving forward our national Methane Reduction Plan to preparing for impactful pilot interventions, we look forward to the next phase as we continue our close collaboration with government counterparts and partners to deliver science-based, practical climate solutions for Lao PDR.
